This is a list of all the items you would need for a dorm and a few tips I've learned when it comes to living in the dorms. If you are living in an apartment on campus, you'll need more items than this.

Tips:
No pets allowed unless they are an emotional support animal
There are R.As that check your room while you are on break
Go around your floor and try to make friends
If you bring a car to campus, you have to pay parking
The bus to class is always running! Even on the weekends
Full meal plan is worth it even if it is expensive
Work on campus!
Join clubs-especially in your major!
Take advantage of office ours with your professors
Take responsibility when smoking or drinking in the dorms
